Knowledge-based advice designed to improve your business results.

What We Do (and don’t do)

Spice MBS provides your business with knowledge-based advice designed to improve your business results.
We are your strategic partner, bringing no bias and no politics. Only the desire to help your business be all that it can be. We do not do advertising, PR, graphic design, and the like. This means our recommendations are not tied to services that generate revenue for us. If you need these services, we will help you seek out and hire the best resources for your needs.

How We Do It

We start with an in-depth meeting to explore your situation and needs. If we decide to go forward, we will prepare a plan of action, in phases, with budgets attached. After presentation of this plan, you decide whether to proceed and how engaged you want Spice MBS to be.
Here is how a project might flow. This will be adapted to each client depending upon information currently available, existing resources, specific objectives, etc.

Initial Discussion

  • Discuss business or situation need

  • Formalize and quantify objectives and goals

Gather Information

  • Review existing research, sales records, financial reports, etc. for information that may point to underlying issues.

  • Conduct interviews with relevant staff, vendors

  • Understand consumer/client issues through new research

  • Conduct a review of competitors

  • Prepare a SWOT analysis

Develop Strategy

  • Adjust objectives and goals if required

  • Prepare and present a marketing and/or business plan: Strategies; Target Audience, Tactics, Resources required (financial and human)

  • Gain approval

Execute

  • Review plan with relevant staff and possibly relevant key vendors

  • If new vendors are needed, prepare an RFP to solicit vendor proposals

  • Assist in screening vendors, selection, negotiations and vendor agreements

  • Initiate vendors and help to guide their first efforts

Measure Achievement

  • Review achievement of objectives and goals on a quarterly basis.

  • Adjust plans based on progress towards goals
